1. Silicon Carbide is produced by reduction of silicon oxide by carbon, which is proceeding at high temperature in electrical resistant furnaces. Burnt material is then broken to pieces and crushed on required sizing.

4.    Usage:

a) in metallurgy at smelting in electrical furnaces as allowance of ferrosilicon in order to reach better quality of cast-irons and lower financial demand
b) for a production of foundry briquettes
